In this episode, we're chatting with Nick Ellison.
In 2017, Nick launched Tubers Academy, teaching 7-17 year olds how to create videos for YouTube. What started out as quite a simple idea, get some studios, make some videos, have some fun, very quickly escalated into a full blown alternative education service.
In short time, Nick built a curriculum and taught 1000's of children how to create video. When COVID hit, Nick and his team launched into live streaming and now leverage Ecamm Live to keep kids entertained, interact with members, and have a ton of fun along the way.
Nick's latest project, the Tu-Bus, is a 32-seater mobile version of Tubers Academy. Filled with high end PC gaming, M1 Mac Minis to teach Final Cut Pro, XBox and VR for some downtime, and a full Ecamm Studio at the back of the bus, this studio on wheels is like nothing you've ever seen.
