Michael Shabun is Vice President of Marketing & Business Development for Insta360 and leads North American marketing strategy, communications, strategic partnerships and video production. Michael specializes in helping overseas brands build their presence in western regions.
Previous to joining Insta360, Michael led the business development team for DJI in North America, where he was instrumental in moving the company into the public spotlight through a series of strategic partnerships within entertainment, sports and developing applications across a variety of enterprise verticals. Michael is passionate about using new camera technology to simplify visual storytelling and passing that knowledge onto new users. Michael has produced over 150 branded videos from big product launch videos all the way through to viral social videos, tutorials and documentary style productions. Most of these videos have been produced on shoestring budgets, and Michael emphasizes the principle of producing smarter, not harder.
